Description |
Linear catalog, series D and M tiles. As discussed in the Linear Catalog Introduction (MP-96C), in addition to the voluminous E series of art tiles, there are two additional series of art tiles: The D series (Espagnol), containing only three tiles, and the slightly larger M (Moroccan) series containing twenty-seven tiles. The rationale for establishing these two separate series has been lost to time. Only one of the D series tiles is known to have been produced; only eight examples of the M series have been found. The MLM Archivist would be eager to learn of any additional productions within these two series. |
